Anita - The adventure in the land of Ice and Snow

I don’t write here for so long now. I have a lot of things to say but I’ve always so many things to do, it had been simply impossible to write here something. I have to start writing about my Portuguese visit. Ana came here in the beginning of October and it was really good. In the same way that I’ve asked Seco to do, Ana wrote something about her Suomi experience (in Portuguese, but I translate to English really resumed: “Finland is great! One of the best (and coldest) countries in the world. I understand now why you want to stay there!” Basically is this =)

Bem, o que se passa é que fui obrigada por uma certa pessoa a escrever umas linhas sobre a minha estadia em terras Finlandesas! :p

Pois então digo já que adorei (embora tenha ficado pouco tempo)! Pronto ok, o frio estava em alta e por vezes não foi fácil! Mas sem dúvida que tudo o resto que vivi nestes 5 dias compensou e muito esse probleminha!

Não há nada que eu possa dizer que tenha gostado mais... Gostei de tudo! Apanhei uma altura do ano especialmente bonita para mim, o Outono, com umas cores fantásticas, que de certeza que nunca irei ver em Portugal.

Não vou então falar de nada em particular, até porque se o fizesse não saía daqui nem amanhã! Só me resta simplesmente concordar com tudo o que foi escrito neste blog acerca deste país, tanto quanto à beleza, quanto à maneira de tudo funcionar. Sim, é tudo verdade!

Agora fico a aguardar ainda com mais expectativa as fotos de uma tal viagem do Sr. Fred à Lapónia, como também as fotos do primeiro nevão em Tampere - que irei ver num sítio bem mais quentinho! E por falar nisso... a temperatura talvez seja das poucas coisas, senão a única, que eu vejo que Portugal poderá ter de "melhor", para mim, em relação à terra do Pai Natal... Foi o único "defeito" que encontei!

É que... há que deixar bem claro que no dia antes de eu chegar, estava em Tampere um sol que não se podia, os 5 dias seguintes foram com alguma chuva e muitas núvens... Assim que que me fui embora voltou o sol... Não percebi!!!

Bem, só me resta deixar uma palavinha ao Fanny... Kittos! =) Por tudo!

Five balls

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them: work, family, health,  friends, spirit, and you're keeping all of these in the air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. If you drop any of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damage, or even shattered. It will never be the same. You must understand that, and strive for balance in your life. So, don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with other, it is because we are different that each of us is special. Don't set your goals by that other people deem important, only you know what is best for you. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart, cling to them as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless. Don't give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.  Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us together. Don't be afraid to take encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave. Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give, the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly and the best way to keep love is to give it wings and never forget that a person's greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.
