University Students

Things that you should know because you’re a university student:

1. Doesn’t matter at what hour is the first lecture in the morning, you will sleep on it; 

2. You will change completely and you will not even notice; 

3. You’ll realize that you can love many people in different ways; 

4. University students do play with paper plains during the lectures; 

5. You will met some teachers on the examination day; 

6. Each clock have a different hour; 

7. If you were intelligent in high school… the intelligence should had stayed there; 

8. Doesn’t matter everything you have promised on the previous year, you will go to the party’s even when they are on the night before the exam; 

9. You can know all the course material and fail the exam; 

10. You can know nothing at all and pass the exam; 

11. Your flat is the last place to visit; 

12. The major part of the knowledge that you will learn, you will get it from outside of the lectures; 

13. If you never drank before, you will; 

14. If you never smoked before, you will; 

15. If you never get laid before, you will; 

16. If you never do this during your university time, you will never do it, unless you get to university again; 

17. You will became one of those persons your parents told you to be with; 

18. The truth is that Psychology is Biology; 

19. Biology is Chemistry; 

20. Chemistry is Physics; 

21. Physics is Mathematic; 

22. And Mathematic is still the same shit; 

22. When you finish your degree you will know nothing concrete and you will be thinking that you’re not prepared for your possible future job; 

23. You will discover that depression, loneliness and sadness are not things from people that don’t have nothing to do; 

24. You will promise that on the next year you will study more, be more focused on the lectures and that you will not go to so many parties, but you will do exactly the opposite; 

25. You will see that get a zero on an exam is possible; 

26. The most rewarding things in university are the friend’s that you have; 

27. You will be anxiously looking forward to finish the university; 

28. And when you had finished your university studies, you will realize that those were the best days of your life.

Feelings

Sometimes I would love to be able to hug people with words…, because when is impossible or simply difficult because I don’t know how to do it, it would be easy to express my feelings… 

Humppa!

Well, I haven’t written anything here for ages now. I had a lot of work (8 courses simultaneously sometimes is really hard), a lot of presentations, exams! At the end, I can say that I love it. I love to work hard and then have one night of true madness with my friends, crazy parties, met a lot of people, live different experiences… I think I will never be able to explain it. Just came to Tampere and you will see by yourself!

I have a lot to tell here today, but I think I have to start by comment the picture. The snow has arrived and seems that it is here to stay. Everything is so beautiful here now. Everything is covered is a white layer of soft and dry snow, making everything much lighter! How is possible, be outside walking on the street when is snowing and you look around, not be smiling all the time? The landscapes now are astonishing, the trees seems frozen when they are white and without leaves, the lakes are already starting to freeze… this is truly amazing!

I have to tell you all about the Indecs SitSit dinner, but I will do it other day, the ESN Sea Battle (Love Boat), also other day, and many many things that I will talk about later; but today I will bring here Humppa!

What is Humppa? Well, Humppa is a type of music from Finland. It is related to jazz and very fast foxtrot, with typical speed about 250 to 280 beats per minute! They make some originals but they also make some crazy and silly covers! Really nice! I just love it! I went to see the most famous Humppa band called Eläkeläiset and it was so, so, so great! Those guys are so crazy! And they have a good group of fans! One of the best concerts of my life for sure!
